ZenByte

Editorial policy: ZenByte blog (zenbyte.app)

ZenByte makes mobile apps and also buys apps from independent developers. This blog explains how to solve everyday phone problems and how app acquisitions work. This page explains how we write, test and correct what we publish.

Who writes here

Every article is written by a named person on our team. Each author has an author page with their role, the apps they work on and a link to their professional profile. An editor on our team reviews every article before it is published. This policy is maintained by the ZenByte editorial team.

How we choose topics

We write about problems people actually search for: storage, photos, files and transfers, privacy tools, creative tools, and selling or transferring an app. We do not write medical advice. When a topic is about your health, we point you to official sources and professionals.

How we test

  • We try every method we describe on a real device before we publish.
  • Each how-to article shows a Tested on line with the device, the operating system version and the date of the test.
  • We start with the free or built-in method, with a link to Apple’s or Google’s own documentation, before we mention any app.
  • Screenshots come from our own tests. We do not publish AI-generated screenshots.
  • When we compare apps, we include fair alternatives, not only ours.

When we mention our own apps

Some articles mention apps that ZenByte makes. When they do, the article says so near the top: “In this article we mention our own app.” Articles about selling an app say that ZenByte buys apps. We do not hide advertising in articles, and we follow the Turkish consumer protection law’s ban on covert advertising (Law No. 6502, Article 61).

  • We do not accept payment for articles, rankings or reviews.
  • We do not use affiliate links.
  • Links to the App Store and Google Play carry campaign parameters so we can count, in aggregate, how many readers found an app through the blog. They contain no personal data.

How we use AI

AI tools may help us research a topic, outline an article or check our language. A person on our team writes every article, tests every method, checks every fact and signs the article with their name. We do not publish articles that are produced in bulk or that nobody has tested.

Facts, numbers and sources

  • We do not make up numbers. Statistics about our own apps come from App Store Connect or Google Play Console; any other statistic links to its source.
  • We link to primary sources, such as official documentation, whenever we can.
  • Images are our own or properly licensed, and every image has a text description (alt text).

Corrections

If you find a mistake, write to info@zenbyte.app with the article’s address. We check every report. When we correct a fact, we fix the text and add a short note at the end of the article saying what changed and when. If the mistake changed the article’s main advice, the note goes at the top.

Updates

Apps and operating systems change, so we review our articles regularly and update them when steps or prices change. Each article shows when it was published and when it was last updated.
