This Privacy Policy explains how ZenByte App Agency ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the WordCross mobile application (the "App") and this website.
1. Information we process
WordCross does not currently require account registration and is not designed to ask you for your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or files. However, the App uses third-party services that may automatically process technical and usage information.

2. Firebase
We may use Google Firebase services, including Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and technical problems. If enabled in the released build, Firebase Performance Monitoring may also process technical performance data. Firebase may process device information, app instance identifiers, usage events, crash information, IP-derived approximate location, and related technical data in accordance with Google's terms and privacy documentation.
3. Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements, including interstitial and rewarded ads. AdMob and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interaction data, diagnostic information, and other technical information to serve, secure, limit, and measure ads. Depending on your region, age status, device settings, and consent choices, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited.
Where required, the App may display a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform. You can review or update available privacy choices from the App's privacy settings when that option is provided. On iOS, tracking that requires access to the advertising identifier will only be requested or used in accordance with Apple's AppTrackingTransparency framework and your device permission.
4. Legal bases for EEA, UK, and Swiss users
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on: your consent for certain advertising, analytics, or device access; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, debugging, and improving the App; performance of the service you request; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent through available in-app controls or device settings, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
5. How we use information
- Provide and maintain gameplay and save local progress.
- Measure level performance and improve game balance.
- Detect crashes, abuse, fraud, and technical errors.
- Display and measure advertisements and provide rewarded-ad benefits.
- Comply with legal, safety, platform, and regulatory requirements.
6. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of the word. Information may be processed by service providers that help us operate the App, particularly Google through Firebase and AdMob. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent.
7. Data retention
Local game progress remains on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall it, unless cloud synchronization is introduced and separately disclosed. Third-party service providers retain analytics, crash, and advertising information according to their own settings, contracts, and retention policies. We aim to keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. Because WordCross does not currently use user accounts, we may need device or event details to locate data associated with your request, and some data may be controlled directly by Google or your device platform.

- Use the in-app privacy options, where available, to review advertising consent choices.
- Uninstall the App or clear its local storage to remove locally stored progress.

9. International processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, providers may use approved contractual or legal mechanisms for international transfers.
10. Children
WordCross is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in the user's jurisdiction. We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children. The App must not be listed in Apple's Kids Category while third-party advertising or analytics are used unless the implementation fully complies with the platform's special rules. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Third-party policies
Google's services are governed by Google's own terms and privacy policies. You should review Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy documentation for additional information about their processing.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App, SDKs, legal requirements, or our practices. We will update the date at the top and provide additional notice when required.
