Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2025
Video Blur ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.
1. Data Collection
We believe in minimal data collection. Video Blur does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All video processing happens entirely on your device. Your videos never leave your iPhone.
2. Photo Library & Camera Access
The app requests access to your photo library and camera solely for the purpose of:
- Photo Library: Allowing you to select videos to edit and saving processed videos back to your library.
- Camera: Enabling you to record new videos directly within the app for editing.
These permissions are used only for their stated purpose. We do not access, upload, or share your media files in any way.
3. In-App Purchases
Video Blur offers premium features through in-app subscriptions. All purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.
Subscription management and billing are handled entirely by Apple. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions in your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
4. Analytics & Third-Party Services
Video Blur does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. We do not integrate with any SDKs that collect user data. There are no cookies, no tracking pixels, and no usage telemetry.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties. Since we do not collect data, there is nothing to share.
6. Children's Privacy
Our app does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected from any user, the app is safe for all ages.
7. Face Data
Our app does not collect, store, or analyze any facial data.
The camera is used only when the user explicitly enables the facecam feature for recording purposes. All video processing occurs locally on the device. We do not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or any form of face tracking.
No face data or video content is transmitted to external servers or shared with third parties.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
