FaceBlur ("the App") is developed and operated by Gravity Code ("we", "us", or "our"). Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information and is designed to comply with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Apple's App Store guidelines.
FaceBlur collects limited, anonymous usage data through Firebase Analytics to help us understand how the App is used and improve the experience. This includes:
This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally. We do not link analytics data to any personal information.
FaceBlur does not collect, store, process, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:
All photo processing — including face detection, blurring, pixelation, and image export — happens entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service. We have no ability to see, access, intercept, or store your images at any point.
The App requests access to your camera and photo library solely to enable you to select and edit photos. This access is managed by iOS system permissions and can be revoked at any time in your device's Settings. We only access photos that you explicitly select within the App — we do not scan, index, or browse your photo library.
FaceBlur offers optional in-app purchases (Pro monthly and yearly subscriptions, and a lifetime unlock) managed entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit framework. We do not collect, process, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, billing address, or Apple ID. All transaction processing is handled by Apple. For questions about billing, refunds, or subscription management, please refer to Apple's billing support.
The App uses the following third-party services:
Since we do not collect any data, there is nothing to retain or delete. All your content remains exclusively on your device and in your iCloud Photo Library (if enabled by you through iOS settings).
Because the App processes all data locally on your device and does not transmit any information to external servers, your data remains protected by your device's built-in security features, including encryption and biometric authentication.
FaceBlur does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Because the App collects no data from any user, it is suitable for all age groups.
Under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable data protection laws, you have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, rectify, delete, and port your data. Since FaceBlur does not collect or process any personal data, these rights are inherently fulfilled — there is no personal data held by us to access, modify, or delete.
FaceBlur does not transfer any data internationally or to any servers. All processing occurs locally on your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
