AI Room Design ("we," "us," or "our") operates the AI Room Design mobile application and this website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services.
By using our app or website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you disagree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of our services.
Data We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our AI room design service:

How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- Provide the service — Generate AI room designs from your uploaded photos using the style and room type you select.
- Account management — Create, authenticate, and maintain your user account and credit balance.
- Subscription management — Verify purchase receipts, restore purchases, and apply credits to your account.
- App improvement — Analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve features and performance.
- Customer support — Respond to your inquiries and resolve technical issues.
- Legal compliance — Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted third-party services to operate our app. Each processes your data only as necessary to provide their service:
Firebase (Google LLC)

Apple (App Store / StoreKit)

Cloudflare

In-App Purchases
AI Room Design offers subscriptions and consumable credits through Apple's App Store:
- Premium Weekly ($4.99/week) — 20 AI renders per week
- Premium Monthly ($8.99/month) — 50 AI renders per month
- Premium Yearly ($39.99/year) — 80 AI renders per month
- 50 Credits Pack ($3.99) — One-time consumable purchase
All payments are processed by Apple. We do not store or have access to your credit card information. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary:

When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., transaction records).
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents may also exercise rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and opt-out of sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
Children's Privacy
AI Room Design is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted via TLS 1.3.
- Room photos are uploaded directly to encrypted cloud storage and are never stored on our servers unencrypted.
- Firebase Authentication handles all credential management — we never store passwords.
- Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to security@airoomdesign.app.
Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via:
- An in-app notification when you next open the app
- An email to the address associated with your account
Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
