Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: August 23, 2026

The short version: Raccy is designed to analyze your photo library on your device. We do not require an account, upload your photos to our servers, sell personal data, or use your library for advertising.

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Raccy ("Raccy," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Raccy iOS application and this website. If a future version introduces a service that changes these practices, we will update this policy before that change takes effect.

2. Photo Library access

Raccy requests access to your Apple Photo Library only after showing an explanation and receiving your permission. Depending on the access level you choose, Apple may allow Raccy to access your full library or only selected photos.

Raccy uses this access to display and analyze items for cleanup features such as screenshots, duplicates, similar photos, blurry photos, receipts, bursts, and best-shot review. Photo analysis is designed to occur locally on your device.

3. Cleanup and deletion

Raccy does not silently delete Photo Library items. When you approve a cleanup, deletion is requested through Apple’s Photos framework and iOS presents its system confirmation where required. Removed items are handled by Apple Photos, including the Recently Deleted album and its recovery period.

4. Information stored on your device

Raccy may store app preferences and local progress on your device, such as onboarding completion, cleanup totals, settings, streaks, levels, and achievement progress. This information supports the app experience and is not intended to identify you outside your device. Removing the app may remove locally stored app data, subject to iOS behavior.

5. Purchases

If you purchase Raccy Premium, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. Apple may provide the app with limited purchase and entitlement information—such as product identifier, transaction status, and subscription eligibility—so Raccy can unlock purchased features and restore purchases. Apple’s own privacy terms apply to App Store transactions.

6. Analytics, tracking, and advertising

The current version of Raccy does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not create advertising profiles from your use of the app. If optional diagnostics or privacy-preserving analytics are introduced later, this policy and the relevant App Store privacy disclosures will be updated.

7. Website and support communications

This static website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or behavioral trackers. Your hosting provider may process basic technical logs—such as IP address, browser type, and request time—for security and delivery.

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, device details, and message. Please do not send private photos unless you intentionally decide they are necessary. Support messages are used to respond to you, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

8. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be handled by service providers only when necessary to operate the website or respond to support, and by Apple for App Store purchases and platform services. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or to protect the security and integrity of Raccy.

9. Retention

On-device preferences remain until you reset them or remove the app, subject to iOS storage and backup behavior. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support records, prevent abuse, and comply with legal requirements.

10. Children’s privacy

Raccy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through support, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

11. Your choices

12. International use

Support and website providers may process limited information in countries other than your own. Where applicable, we use reasonable safeguards required by law. Photo Library analysis remains designed for on-device processing.

13. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The updated date above will show when the latest version took effect. Material changes will be communicated through the app, this website, or another appropriate method.
