1. Overview

PrayLock ("the App") is developed and maintained by PrayLock. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

2. Data Storage

All data generated by PrayLock is stored locally on your device. This includes:

• Your selected moods and preferences
• Unlock history and streak data
• Your nafs discipline score
• App lock selections
• Subscription status

We do not operate any backend servers. Your data is never uploaded, synced, or stored remotely. If you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed.

3. Screen Time & FamilyControls

PrayLock uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls framework) to shield selected apps. When you grant Screen Time access:

• PrayLock can only see and manage the specific apps you select — it cannot access any other data from Screen Time.
• Apple's FamilyControls framework is designed so that the identities of selected apps are opaque tokens — PrayLock cannot read the actual names or bundle identifiers of your apps.
• This permission can be revoked at any time in your device's Settings.

4. Analytics

PrayLock uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data. This helps us understand how the app is used and improve the experience. The data collected includes:

• Anonymous event data (e.g., which screens are viewed, which features are used)
• General device information (device model, OS version)
• Crash reports for debugging

This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally. No personal information, prayer content viewed, mood selections, or app lock choices are included in analytics.

5. Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. PrayLock does not collect, store, or process any payment information. All billing is managed by Apple's in-app purchase system.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Analytics (Google) — anonymous usage analytics. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Apple StoreKit 2 — in-app subscription management, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy

We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to any third party.

7. Children's Privacy

PrayLock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security features, including device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. We recommend keeping your device software up to date for the best protection.

9. Your Rights

Because PrayLock does not collect personal data on servers, there is no personal data for us to access, modify, or delete on our end. All your data is under your control on your device. You can:

• Delete all app data by uninstalling PrayLock
• Revoke Screen Time permissions in Settings at any time
• Opt out of analytics by disabling analytics in your device settings

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
