Overview
Pomodoro ("the App") is developed and published by Gravity Code ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
In short: We don't collect any personal data. The App works entirely offline and stores all information on your device only.
Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email address, phone number)
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Contacts, photos, or other device content
- Cookies or tracking pixels
Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device to provide its core functionality. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us:
Session History
Records of your completed focus sessions, including timestamps, duration, and session type (work, short break, long break). This data is used to display your statistics and streak information within the App.
User Preferences
Your settings such as timer durations, sound preferences, notification preferences, and other configuration choices.
Subscription Status
A cached copy of your subscription entitlement status is stored locally for quick access. The actual subscription is managed entirely by Apple through the App Store.
Subscriptions and Payments
The App offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (weekly, monthly, and yearly). All payments are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.
Subscription management, including cancellation, is handled through your Apple ID account settings. For more information, refer to Apple's subscription management guide.
Notifications
The App may request permission to send local notifications to alert you when a focus session or break ends. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any server communication. You can revoke notification permissions at any time through your device's Settings.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third-party service involved is:
- Apple StoreKit — for processing in-app subscriptions. This is managed entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 (or equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Since the App does not collect any personal data from any user, it is safe for use by all ages.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all App data at any time by:
- Deleting the App from your device (this removes all locally stored data)
- Using the "Reset" option within the App's settings, if available
We have no data to delete on our end because we never receive or store any of your data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
