PhotoClean ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.
The key principle: Your photos never leave your device. All analysis is performed entirely on-device using Apple's built-in frameworks.
1. Information We Collect
PhotoClean is designed to collect as little data as possible:
- Photo library access: The app accesses your photo library locally on your device to analyze and group photos. Your photos are never uploaded to any server.
- Basic analytics: We collect anonymous usage data such as app opens, feature usage, and crash reports to help improve the app experience. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
- Subscription information: If you subscribe to PhotoClean Pro, purchase and subscription status is managed by Apple and our payment processor (RevenueCat). We do not have access to your payment details.
2. How We Use Information
The limited information we collect is used to:
- Improve the app's performance and reliability
- Understand which features are most useful
- Fix crashes and bugs
- Manage your subscription status
3. Data Storage
All photo analysis, grouping, and scoring happens entirely on your device. We do not operate any servers that store your photos or personal data.
App preferences and analysis results are stored locally on your device and are removed when you delete the app.
4. Third-Party Services
PhotoClean uses the following third-party services:
- Apple Analytics: Provides anonymous, aggregated usage data and crash reports. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat: Manages in-app subscriptions and purchases. Governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
We do not use any third-party advertising networks or tracking SDKs.
5. Children's Privacy
PhotoClean is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
