Video to MP3 is designed with privacy in mind. All video and audio processing happens entirely on your device. We do not upload, store, or access your media files on any server.

This Privacy Policy describes how Video to MP3 ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our iOS application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

2. Information We Collect

We want to be clear about what we do not collect:

We do not collect, upload, or store your videos or audio files
We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number
We do not require account creation or login
We do not track your location
We do not access your contacts, messages, or other personal data

2.2 Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data that helps us improve the app. This may include:

App usage patterns (e.g., which features are used most frequently)
Device information (e.g., device model, operating system version)
App performance data (e.g., crash reports, export success/failure rates)
Subscription-related events (e.g., paywall views, purchase completions)

2.3 Subscription Data

If you subscribe to Video to MP3 Premium, your payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information (credit card number, billing address, etc.). We only receive a confirmation of your subscription status from Apple to unlock premium features.

On-Device Processing

All audio extraction, merging, trimming, and encoding is performed locally on your device using native iOS frameworks. Your media files never leave your device.

3. How We Use Information

The limited anonymous analytics data we collect is used solely to:

Understand which features are most valuable to users
Identify and fix bugs or performance issues
Improve the overall user experience
Make informed decisions about future feature development

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your information to third parties. Anonymous analytics data is processed by Firebase (Google) as our analytics provider. No personally identifiable information is shared with any third party.

5. Data Storage

Exported files are saved locally on your device in the location you choose (Files app, Photos library, or shared via the system share sheet). Export history records are stored locally on your device in a local database and are never transmitted to any server.

You can clear your export history at any time from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

6. Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

Photo Library Access: Required to select videos for processing and to save exported files to your photo library. We only access files you explicitly select.
File Access: Required when you choose to save exports to or import files from the Files app.

You can manage these permissions at any time in your device's Settings app.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app does not collect personal information from any user, there is no specific risk to children's privacy.

8. Subscriptions

Video to MP3 offers optional Premium subscriptions:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings
Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any changes.

10. Your Rights
