What Data We Collect

We believe in minimal data collection. Here's a complete overview of what data Flipbook handles:

100% Offline Processing

Flipbook is designed to work completely offline. This means:

• No server uploads: Your videos are never sent to any server. All frame extraction, image processing, and PDF generation happens on your device.
• No cloud storage: Your flipbook projects are stored only in your device's local storage.
• No internet required: You can create flipbooks without any internet connection (except for initial app download and purchases).
• No third-party processing: We don't use any cloud-based video or image processing services.

Purchases & Subscriptions

Flipbook offers optional premium features through in-app purchases. All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store:

• We never see or store your payment information
• Apple handles all billing and subscription management
• Purchase receipts are validated through Apple's servers
• You can manage subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions

App Permissions

Flipbook requests the following permissions, all used solely for the app's core functionality:

Photo Library Access

Required to select videos from your photo library. We only access videos you explicitly choose. We cannot access your photo library in the background or access photos/videos you haven't selected.

Camera Access (Optional)

Only requested if you choose to record a new video within the app. You can deny this permission and still use the app with existing videos.

Local Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device:

• Project files: Stored in the app's private container
• Exported PDFs: Saved to your chosen location (Files, Share, etc.)
• Preview frames: Temporarily cached, automatically cleaned up
• Preferences: Stored in local app storage

When you delete the app, all locally stored data is automatically removed by iOS.

Third-Party Services

Flipbook uses minimal third-party services:

• Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases
• Apple StoreKit: For purchase verification

We do not use:

• Analytics services (no Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• Advertising networks
• Social media SDKs
• Crash reporting services that collect user data

Children's Privacy

Flipbook does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app processes all data locally and does not transmit any data to external servers. Parents can feel confident that their children's videos and photos remain private and on-device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there's no personal data to access, modify, or delete from our servers. However, you have full control over your data:

• Delete projects: Remove any flipbook project directly in the app
• Clear all data: Delete the app to remove all locally stored data
• Manage purchases: Handle subscriptions through iOS Settings
• Revoke permissions: Manage app permissions in iOS Settings
