MuzioCalorie ("we," "our," or "us") is developed by sfmob. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the MuzioCalorie mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect and process the following types of information:
- Device Identifier: An anonymous UUID generated and stored locally on your device. This identifier is used to associate your scan quota and subscription status with your device.
- Meal Photos: When you scan a meal, the photo is sent to our API for AI analysis. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored permanently on our servers.
- Nutrition Data: The calorie and macronutrient data generated from your meal scans is stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data does not leave your device.
- Subscription Status: Your subscription plan and scan quota information is synced with our backend to manage your account.
- Calorie Goal Preference: Your daily calorie goal is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- AI Meal Analysis: Your meal photos are sent securely to our API to provide calorie and macronutrient estimates.
- Scan Quota Tracking: We track the number of scans you've used to enforce plan limits.
- Subscription Processing: We manage your subscription status to provide access to the correct plan features.
4. Data Storage & Security
- Meal data, nutrition information, and your calorie goal are stored locally on your device via SQLite.
- Meal photos are transmitted securely via HTTPS to our API endpoint (
calai-worker.alpermi46.workers.dev) for processing. - We implement appropriate technical measures to protect the data transmitted to and from our servers.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Apple StoreKit: Used to process in-app subscriptions. Subscription transactions are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare Workers: Our API is hosted on Cloudflare Workers, which processes meal scan requests. Cloudflare's infrastructure is subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Data Deletion: All locally stored data (meal history, nutrition data, calorie goals) can be deleted by removing the App from your device.
- Data Requests: If you would like to request information about any data associated with your device identifier on our servers, please contact us using the information below.
7. Children's Privacy
MuzioCalorie is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
