Introduction

StepCalorie ("we", "our", "the App") is developed by SF Mob. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting it.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information. By using StepCalorie, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Data We Collect

Food Photos

  • When you scan a meal, the photo is sent to our secure server for AI-powered nutritional analysis.
  • Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers.
  • The AI returns calorie and nutrition estimates only.
  • Original photos are stored locally on your device and automatically deleted after 14 days.

Health Data (HealthKit)

  • We request read-only access to step count, walking distance, and active energy burned.
  • This data is used solely to calculate calories burned.
  • We never write to HealthKit.
  • Health data is stored locally on your device only.
  • HealthKit access is optional — the app works without it.

  • Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit.
  • We do not have access to your payment information.
  • We only store your subscription status locally to manage feature access.
