Music Editor ("the App") is developed and published by Zenbyte ("we", "us", "our"). We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (spoiler: almost nothing), how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Audio Files

The App allows you to import, edit, and export audio files. All audio processing happens entirely on your device using the native iOS audio engine. We never upload, transmit, copy, or access your audio files on any server. Your files remain in the app's sandboxed storage on your device at all times.

2.2 Personal Information

We do not collect any personal information. The App does not require an account, email address, phone number, name, or any other personally identifiable information to function.

2.3 Usage Data & Analytics

We do not use any third-party analytics services. We do not track your behavior, feature usage, session duration, or any other usage metrics. No data is sent to us or any third party when you use the App.

2.4 Device Information

We do not collect information about your device, including but not limited to device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, or IP address.

3. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional premium features through Apple's In-App Purchase system (StoreKit 2). All purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not process, store, or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details.

Transaction verification is performed on-device using Apple's signed transaction format (JWS). No server-side receipt validation is used.

4. Data Storage

All data created by the App — including your projects, edit history, waveform caches, and preferences — is stored locally on your device in the app's sandboxed file system. This data is:

• Not accessible by other apps
• Not synced to any cloud service by us
• Deleted when you uninstall the App

If you use iCloud Backup, iOS may include the App's data in your device backup according to your iCloud settings. This is managed by Apple, not by us.

5. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or social media plugins. The only external service interaction is with Apple's App Store for in-app purchase processing.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since we do not collect any personal information from any user, no special provisions are necessary for children's data.

7. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any user data with third parties. Since we don't collect data, there is nothing to share.

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, traditional data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) do not apply in the conventional sense. However:

• Delete your data: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data
• Manage purchases: You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings

9. Security

Your audio files and project data are protected by iOS's built-in app sandboxing. Each app on iOS has its own isolated storage that other apps cannot access. We additionally:

• Use UUID-based file naming to prevent path traversal
• Validate file types before processing
• Copy imported files into the sandbox rather than accessing them in-place

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
